100% Petite Syrah – Rare grape variety, there are only a few hectares cultivated in France. Old variety resulting from a spontaneous cross between Syrah and Peloursin (the latter originating from Isère). Mainly produced in California and Australia under the name Petite Sirah or Durif. Ampelographic studies identify plant characteristics specific to Petite Syrah and the profile of the wine differs from Syrah, particularly in color and structure. Tasting – Pronounced purplish color, rich in polyphenols, almost black. A nose on the wild blackberry. A full, precise and spicy palate with a long fresh finish. Certainly a wine made for aficionados of BBQ, stew and other meat products! The label of the Ournac Frères range takes up the codes of the political newspapers of 1900 where our great-great-grandfather and his brother exercised their talents as caricaturists. The design is inspired by an antique engraving and represents a pointer, a favorite canine of each generation of winegrowers at Domaine Coudoulet. A wine not only for hunters who don't know how to hunt without their dog. With each vintage the necklace changes color! Production limited to 6,000 bottles 13% ALC by VOL. / Wine of France / Numbered bottles
