Vino Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Biologico DOC by Cantine Fina is an organic Sicilian white wine from the province of Trapani. Our Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC wine comes from vines located near the sea coast of the municipality of Marsala, and expresses in the glasses the savory and iodized personality of the Sicilian sea. Wine Grillo Kebrilla Sicily Organic DOC The Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC wine comes from the Grillo vine, which is one of the oldest and best known in Sicily. It is perhaps the one that best recalls its aromas and richness of sensations. With the Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC wine you can appreciate the enviable freshness on the palate and the elegance of the range proposed to the nose, where the flowers of Sicily take on different forms, alternating with territorial references in which the sapidity of the nearby sea and the breezes that caress the vineyards can be felt with precision. The Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC wine is a 100% Grillo, originating from those parcels located in the western part of Sicily, at about 150-400 meters above sea level. A Mediterranean wind blows among the rows, full of iodine, and the vines are worked with organic farming practices, so as to safeguard the environment. The harvest takes place towards the end of August, and after pressing the grapes, the must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. The wine is then transferred for a quick passage both in barriques, in cement and in stainless steel containers. Organoleptic characteristics The Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC wine signed by the Fina winery reveals itself to the eye with a bright and brilliant straw yellow color. The scents that envelop the nose move in a purely floral and fruity context, enriched by sensations that recall iodine. Mineral entry on the palate, which develops with a very tasty and mineral refreshing sip. Closes with a finish with excellent persistence. A label with a strong identity which, sip after sip, transports us to the interior of Sicily, right where the Grillo grows and embodies all the aspects and nuances of the island. The surrounding area is home to countless varieties of grape plants destined for wine, but what strongly characterizes the wines are the soil and climate variety and the different terroirs that exist in these areas. We could never speak of any Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot, but only and simply of Sicilian Cabernet Sauvignon or Sicilian Merlot and the same goes for our KiKè, the Sicilian Traminer. The story that links this Sicilian winery to its territory is truly unique and is sanctioned by the respect and awareness that producing wine in this environmental context is a responsibility as well as a source of pride: The vineyards of the Cantina Fina extend mainly along the hill where the new cellar and the new structure dedicated to wine tourism are located, and are mostly home to native vines such as Grillo, from which our Vino Grillo Kebrilla Sicilia Organic DOC, and the Nero d'Avola, the Perricone for which Bruno continues the frenetic search for original clones to restore an ancient and "original" character to his wines. The pride and joy are undoubtedly the vinification department, which today allows the grapes to be processed with the utmost respect for the integrity of the fruit, and the barrique cellar, with a total capacity, including barriques and large barrels, of around 50,000 litres. In this room, the temperature and humidity of the air are constantly kept at ideal values. The packaging department is also of the latest generation, now housed in a special room, where the new bottling monoblock and an innovative microfiltration system stand out, which allows you to bottle wines that have not undergone nerve-wracking clarification and filtration. Even the storage and bottle aging department is temperature-conditioned.
