MACE

Our mace comes from Trivandrum, capital of Kerala, on the Malabar coast in southwestern India. It is meticulously selected by the farmer with whom we work to keep only the most beautiful. Its aromas are quite similar to those of nutmeg, but they are finer, more delicate. The bewitching warmth of mace, also called nutmeg flower, gives it something unique. This sensation of persistent sweet warmth in the mouth makes it irresistible and it is difficult to return then to the nutmeg which has more or less the same utility. It is cultivated with respect for the environment and the ecosystem that surrounds it and the workers who cultivate it are protected by the cooperative with which they collaborate.
