Frantoio Cavalli

We are one of the oldest oil mills in the world, producers of extra virgin olive oil for eleven generations, an art handed down from father to son since the 18th century when Francesco Cavalli began writing the history of our family in Ripi.

Francesco, originally from Modena, was sent to our territory as an official of the Papal State. With the dowry received, he buys 60 hectares of land, gets married and starts a family. He earns the esteem and respect of all by integrating with great dignity into the social context of the country.
