Bresse Chilli Powder - VRAC pro

Bag of 100g of Bresse chilli powder. Cultivated and processed on the farm in Bresse (Ain). The Bresse pepper is a species of pepper endemic to the territory of Bresse at the foot of the Alps. More rustic than its cousin from Espelette, it also develops a very "fruity" flavor, bringing a gourmet paprika side around a warm but not aggressive spiciness (it's still a pepper!). Formerly known as "Bresse red pepper", it was used as pepper, especially in strong cheeses. It has almost disappeared for several decades and was narrowly saved by the Revermont museum (01) and a few individuals in the Bresse louhannaise. It has been reborn from its ashes for a few years, supported by an association of Bresse pepper enthusiasts and a few regional producers. Drying of the fresh product quickly after harvest (no prior fermentation). The Farm is not labeled but our peppers are grown without pesticides and the only nutrient supply comes from our breeding of insects raised organically (insect droppings, usable in organic farming). By default, we offer the so-called "de Romenay" or "Basset" selection, the so-called "de Ratennelle" selection can be offered. Contact us for more details.
