Grape jelly - Sémillon grape variety

The Sémillon grape jelly was born from a collaboration between MAISON GOUBET and Chef STÉPHAN PERROTTE, elected best jam maker in France and world champion in jam. Both are labeled Artisan Producers of Quality by the COLLÈGE CULINAIRE DE FRANCE. They have combined their unique know-how to exclusively create a jelly from the Sémillon grape variety, a traditional grape variety for sweet wines from Bordeaux and Sauternes. The grapes come from organic vines in the Bordeaux region, are pressed on the property using the traditional method and then cooked in a cauldron. This Sémillon jelly seduces with the harmony, complexity and persistence of its aromas. _________________________________ TASTING NOTES: White peach, pear, quince, rhubarb, honey and notes of acacia flower. IDEAL TASTING MOMENT: breakfast, brunch, aperitif or dinner. PAIRINGS: To be enjoyed with foie gras, cheese platter, desserts or to be used for deglazing.
