Maison Laget is part of an ECO-responsible approach to preserving our environment and our economy.
It favors short circuits as much as possible for better traceability but also to preserve the incredible wealth of its territory, Provence. Thus all our Lavender-based products come from Lavender from Provence and from small villages whose economic fabric depends on this culture and its transmission from generation to generation.
For each of our products we favor French crops of equivalent quality!
However, the Tea tree grows in Australia or South Africa!

Our brand is committed to French production as much as possible and is keen to promote the work and quality that our Provençal territory offers!

NATURAL and ORGANIC PRODUCTS

A crucial step! Manual picking of our wild plants

When the plants are mature and full of their aromatic power, our pickers take, by hand, just what we need to preserve the young shoots and ensure harvests for the following seasons. They choose harvesting locations free of any pollution while respecting ecosystems. We favor these ancestral gestures, methods and tools to preserve not only the plans of the species, but also the know-how that makes up the intangible heritage of our Region. The Laget house is based on the postulate that plants are sufficient in themselves to deliver all their benefits. We therefore favor simple formulations, of plant origin exclusively and ban additives from petrochemicals. We are (practically) the only brand to offer hydrosols rich in the volume of plants used, but without any preservatives!

We rely on traditional and simple manufacturing methods, from distillation, drying, mixing, old-fashioned glazing (for perfumery for example), to deliver only the essential: quality! Our essential oils are guaranteed HEBDD (Botanically and Biologically Defined Essential Oils) We systematically indicate to you: 1/ The exact botanical species (Latin name on the labeling), 2/ The producing organ, or the distilled part (leaves, flowers , roots, etc.), 3/ The biochemical specificity or chemotype (dominant molecules) varies depending on the place and time of harvest. They are therefore subjected to chromatography specific to each batch. These criteria are essential and determine the therapeutic properties of the essential oil and therefore the use you can make of it.

It is the story of the transmission of know-how over the years, but also of the transmission of beauty rituals from generation to generation.

On the other hand, we have opted for slow distillation which ensures optimal quality of essential oils. The plant contains a greater quantity of aromatic plant molecules, compared to “standard” oils, giving it exceptional aromatic richness!

COMMITMENT TO QUALITY / ECO RESPONSIBILITY / ECO DESIGN

Beyond the certifications that commit our brand to organic standards, we are part of a CSR (Social or Corporate Social Responsibility) approach, particularly on the environmental level. Many of our containers are recyclable (glass or PET bottles), or made from recycled materials. But we don’t sacrifice the quality and ease of use of our products.

Thus our hydrosol bottles perfectly preserve their contents due to their color. Our PET perfume refills also allow you to reduce the carbon footprint of our containers on the environment thanks to their lower weight. Most of our creams are packaged in “Airless” tubes which allow better conservation of the formula as well as optimal use of the volume of product (almost non-existent loss).

Our products have no unnecessary excess packaging. However, we take the greatest care in preparing your orders. The cushioning particles are made from plant material and you can even put them in your composter!
