Maison Vimon Nutmeg is sourced and selected directly from small producers located in India, the fruits come from the nutmeg tree, a tropical tree of the Myristicaceae family. Once harvested, the nutmegs are dried and then ground. Aril or nutmeg flower is used for mace (which is used in the composition of Maison Vimon curries).
