This very rare eau-de-vie is made from small wild purple plums that grow on thorn bushes also called black thorns. These grape-sized bush sloe berries are picked after the first frosts to give them roundness. This particular method, close to that of ice wines, has a very low yield and makes it a very rare spirit.
