Cayenne pepper

Cayenne pepper is a pepper that belongs to the genus "Capsicum frutescenc". It is one of the most used peppers, especially when you want to spice up a dish without altering its flavor, since despite the power of its spiciness, it is not very aromatic. Cayenne pepper is part of the famous tabasco sauce, and Mexican spices used - among others - in the preparation of chili con carne.
