Our smoked Hawaiian Black Salt offers subtly woody notes, an intense, warm and spicy fragrance, magnified by the delicate touch of Oolong Tea. Oolong Tea offers very rich aromas of honey and hazelnut, due to its oxidation. This unique blend creates delicately fruity, spicy, woody and toasty aromas, all these characteristics blend perfectly with the volcanic aromas of Black Salt. The spiciness of pili pili pepper, also called bird pepper, brings warm flavors that intensely enhance the taste. This atypical combination with surprising flavors goes perfectly with all types of meat and vegetables. But it also sublimates with finesse, marinades for fish and seafood, with its intoxicating smoky notes. We also recommend it at the end of cooking, to sprinkle or to incorporate into a sauce.
