Kabuse-Cha means “shadow tea”: about a week and a half before the harvest of the Kabusecha Okumidori Organic Green Tea, the plants are partially covered so that the sun’s rays reach the plants with less intensity, which in reaction produce more chlorophyll. Coming from the Okumidori cultivar, in the cup they produce a yellow-green liqueur that envelops the palate with intense vegetal notes, a strong umami taste and a light bitter note in the aftertaste, very persistent. Place of origin Kagoshima, Japan Infusion method Put 3 grams (about three teaspoons) in a Japanese teapot of the Kyusu type or, in the absence of this, in a teapot possibly with a wide and flat bottom.
