The Therma 20 Metal thermometer measures temperature over a range of -39.9°C to 149.9°C with a resolution of 0.1°C. The instrument has a large, easy-to-read LCD display. The unit also incorporates an auto power off feature that automatically turns off the instrument after ten minutes, maximizing battery life. The instrument is housed in an ergonomic case with a white coated finish that contains Biomaster antimicrobial technology that reduces bacterial growth. The Therma 20 Metal incorporates an easy-to-use Lumberg sealed screw-lock type connector, allowing a wide range of interchangeable thermistor probes to be used. The Therma 20 Metal is supplied without the probe.
