35g wild jungle pepper "Voatsiperifery"

The Voatsiperifery pepper (due to its origin also "Piper Borbonese" or "Bourbon pepper") grows wild in the jungle of Madagascar - that's why it is often called jungle pepper or Madagascar pepper. It comes from a purely wild collection and was picked by hand from the wild climbing plant from up to 20 meters in the Madagascan jungle. The spiciness of the Voatsiperifery roughly corresponds to that of the commercially available black pepper, but the Voatsiperifery pepper is much more aromatic due to the high proportion of essential oils. This high-quality pepper is particularly suitable for the preparation of potato dishes, steam and game. We recommend crushing the pepper in a mortar just before consumption so that the essential oils come into their own. Alternatively, it can also be ground in a pepper mill.
