What we do is actually very simple and yet has a major impact on the lives of many people. We are Andréa and Stefan and together we run the vanilla crate, with which we have made it our mission to bring real vanilla of the highest quality and in a fair way to the people. Directly from the manufacturer in Madagascar and without unnecessary intermediate steps directly to your home. It's that simple.

In our shop you will find real Bourbon vanilla, which is not considered the best vanilla in the world for nothing. In terms of taste, it is simply unbeatable. We source our vanilla directly from Madagascar, where our own family grows it for us. In this way we can not only ensure that everyone is paid fairly and appropriately for their work, but also that everything is done properly. Our products are continuously checked and only the best specimens make their way to our customers. Our passion for your enjoyment.
For people and for the environment
Both the people of Madagascar and the environment are very important to us. The vanilla crate is therefore committed to exactly this with every product it sells. For every order received, we plant one tree together with the Eden Reforestation Projects to fight against forest death. In order not to leave a negative ecological footprint, we also remove as much garbage from the sea as we produce (nevertheless, of course, we only use packaging material made from recycled paper). In addition, we are currently also supporting COVID aid for the Malagasy population through the organization SEED. This is how we fight for a better world thanks to your help
You benefit directly from our expertise and from direct contact with the family of the vanilla producer in Madagascar. In this way you help to provide the local people with a secure income. Since we are in direct contact with the vanilla farmers without intermediaries, we pass the price savings directly on to you and can still guarantee that the pickers, the production workers and the farmers are paid fairly.
In addition, one tree per order is planted in Madagascar by specially trained villagers, who feed their families and fight against the clearing of the native rainforests. We have the equivalent of the packaging we use taken out of the sea as plastic so that, as a plastic-neutral company, we can do our part to ensure that future generations can also enjoy our nature.
