It is a rather particular salt given that it smells like eggs, this is in fact due to the sulfur it contains. In the mouth we find this flavor, quite dominant. It will accompany eggs in different forms, omelette, fried egg, hard-boiled egg in salad and all kinds of quiches but also certain tofu preparations. It can also accompany salads and chutneys.
