The #1 collection is the result of a blend of historic barrels, selected from the finest signatures, aged in the distillery's cellars. A nod to the founder of the distillery, Gilbert Castan. Blending: Aging in ex barrels of bourbon, white wine and red wine NOSE: Surprisingly little marked by its degree, the bouquet opens on a subtle vanilla register. Finely wooded, it is embellished with fruity notes (Ente plum in particular) with a hint of iodine. Everything turns out to be complex and straightforward. MOUTH: Ample from the attack, tactile and mellow at the same time, it occupies all the spaces of the palate. Long finish, a bit saline on very pleasant roasted notes.
