Morand - Absinthe Morand

After weighing, the absinthe plants macerate in pure alcohol with a few other plants according to a secret recipe. After maceration, the infused mixture of plants and alcohol is distilled to a high degree. The absinthe distillate rests in our cellar; it is then analyzed, reduced and filtered to the desired degree. The plants come from the canton of Valais, Switzerland and China. Ideally enjoyed as an aperitif, traditionally served in a large glass where the absinthe mixes with the very cold water that falls drop by drop from the absinthe fountain. You can use absinthe spoons or not to place sugar on them, depending on your taste. Tasting notes From its clear, transparent, slightly crystalline color, we find a nose dominated by anise and absinthe. On the palate, we find the typical taste of absinthe with an aniseed sweetness and a very well-balanced bitterness.
