The ERNESTO BRUSA sugared almond factory was founded in the 1930s by the homonymous founder, who soon became a "master confectioner" thanks to his small masterpieces based on almonds and sugar which - although initially reserved for his closest family and acquaintances - met with high appreciation throughout the "garden city" and in the surrounding territories.

Ernesto Brusa decided to expand the range and increase the quantities of talc to offer to an ever wider public those which, since then, have been known as "I CONFETTI DI VARESE".
Since then, the work of ERNESTO BRUSA has distinguished itself for the search for almonds and raw materials of the best quality associated with careful and skilful processing, making their confetti unique and unmistakable.
The continuous and fussy attention of Ernesto Brusa towards continuous improvements and innovations has ensured that his name and that of the city of Varese are indisputably linked to the concept of "high quality confectionery".
The name of ERNESTO BRUSA, however, experienced a period of "obfuscation", until there was the "providential" intervention of the current owner: two entrepreneurs who came from Brianza who immediately fell in love with the history of the company, the products and , obviously, from Varese, deciding to invest in what remained of the old “Ernesto Brusa”, convinced of being able to revive its fortunes, regaining the prestige it deserved.
Since 1988, the owners of the new ERNESTO BRUSA have made the founder's values their own, pursuing only excellence in every single production.
In a short time, the Ernesto Brusa brand returned, by right, to the Olympus of high Italian confectionery, and its quality is recognized by consumers, customers as well as by the professionals themselves.

Ernesto Brusa is now one of the few companies specializing in the production of confetti present throughout northern Italy, the only one in Varese and its province.
