The term CRU indicates those types of single-origin cocoa, i.e. that are selected directly from the plantations. These are used only for the finest and most precious chocolate. A superior chocolate, made with cocoa of origin from the Los Bejucos area, in the Dominican Republic: this cocoa has an important percentage of criollo seeds, and a homogeneous and complete fermentation. The result is a milk chocolate for connoisseurs, with a full taste of milk and cocoa, where the sweet and caramel notes are balanced by the bitterness brought about by the important presence of cocoa. A subtle aftertaste of dried fruit completes the aromatic profile.
