
Appellation: Médoc – CRU BOURGEOIS SUPERIEUR Terroir: Clay-limestone for Merlots Graves for Cabernet Sauvignon Area: 15 HA Planting density: 8,500 plants/Ha and 5,000 plants Ha Yield: 50 Hl/Ha Grape varieties: 45% Merlot – 40% Cabernet Sauvignon – 15% Petit Verdot Age of the vine: 50 years Harvest: Mechanical with sorter + sorting table Vinification: In vats with cold pre-maceration for 48 hours to gently extract then straightforward vinification at 23° to extract the fruit Aging: 1/3 new wood including 50% 500L barrels Tasting: Depth and intensity of color. Flattering, complex nose with the marriage of fruity notes (blueberry, redcurrant) and pretty woody and toasted notes. The palate is full of grace with a silky tannin structure. The mid-palate is fleshy, well balanced, rich and the finish has very good length. Let it age for between 3 and 15 years.
