Hélène Jouannet and Tanguy Gauvin developed the Algorythme project following a shared awareness of the urgency of protecting the oceans. They have since created a sustainable activity for future generations, while respecting the environment and perfectly in line with today's sustainable development challenges.
Certified organic on the products it harvests and markets, Algorythme is also the creator of its sector in Charente-Maritime and certified neutral impact by the departmental direction of territories and the sea (DDTM) for sampling, harvesting and exploitation algae in the department.
In order to minimize their impact on the environment, the founders have designed energy-efficient production protocols made mainly in low-tech using recycled materials. Thus, from the capture of algae to their distribution, Algorythme strives to include environmental awareness at all levels of its production.
