Our fig and walnut jam is made in Périgord. It is slowly cooked in a cauldron to sublimate all the flavors. The sweetness of the fig and the crunch of the walnut deliciously combined in this recipe that we make with love. It is an absolutely winning blend for the taste buds of all connoisseurs! Whether on a toast for breakfast or on a piece of sheep's cheese, it's a treat! We choose our fruits with great care and in my opinion, the most fragrant figs are the largest, which have a thin skin and creamy flesh. Of course, we have a preference for our regional fig, the “Pastillière” or Rouge de Bordeaux, its skin is purple and its flesh red. It is a juicy fig that allows us to make dream jams.
