Oregano is undoubtably one of the most important culinary herbs one of the few where the dried is actually more flavourful than the fresh herb. It has a highly aromatic 'warming' taste with its use most prominent as the staple herb of Italian-American cuisine. In fact, it is often thought of as the 'pizza herb' frequently associated with fried or roasted vegetables, meats fish. It also pairs well with spicy foods. A sprinkle over feta cheese with a drizzle of <a href="https://tastespice.tempurl.host/shop/sicilian-lemon-oil/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sicilian Lemon oil</a> is one of our favourite ways to use it, either as a Greek salad or served with barbecued meats or fish.
