This Top Quality of Kenya was born in the Kiambu Region, a municipality of Nairobi Area at an altitude between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level and cultivated by small farmers' cooperatives. Ripe cherries are picked by hand and brought to the processing center. Here the grains are stripped, washed and dried in the sun above the suspended wooden structures. Toasted with cherry wood, this coffee presents a complex aroma in the cup with fruity notes, bergamot and lemongrass which are subsequently enriched with an evident hint of damask rose. Fine acidity with a pleasant and round body, the prolonged aftertaste brings out the sweetness of this coffee with hints of honey, citrus and spices with hints of vanilla and nuts.
