Our Torrefazione is a small artisan reality located at the gates of Morlupo, a delightful medieval village near Rome, and is led by the master roaster Roberto Bernardini. As in all the best artisanal businesses, the Master Roaster works, transforms and follows the coffee at all stages of the roasting process. We have always done it with wood, with cherry wood seasoned for at least a year. This allows us to roast the coffee in a more delicate, full-bodied and deep way, giving each bean unique aromas and flavors. We work with passion, selecting the origins seasonally and collaborating with fazende and farmers in every corner of the world. Each bag of green coffee comes from traceable crops that respect the environment and farmers. We don't toast every day: we follow a calendar based on orders and availability. This allows us to work small batches at a time and to always deliver freshly roasted coffee to our customers. We sell coffees in glass jars. Glass is a 100% recyclable material. We believe in a circular economy where attention is focused on reusing, fixing, renovating and recycling existing materials and products. We deliver freshly roasted coffee to Rome by bicycle, making our contribution to reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In our small way we can save more than 3000 kg of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere per year
