Our macadamia oil comes from African macadamia farmers. Those farmers see almost a third of their production lost every year because the nuts are damaged or broken. They are therefore seen as unsuitable for the consumer market, while they have not lost their great taste and nutritional value. We use this to make our 100% macadamia oil. As a result, less is wasted and more earned by the local farmers. Ultimately, we want to let part of the profit flow back to the farmers and invest in more sustainable and efficient production.
