We are a young Molise company that has rediscovered an ancient cultivar, which has become the flag of our way of working: a modern olive growing attentive to the past, to the territory, made with infinite passion. The Trespaldum oil mill was founded in 2006, on the hill of Mafalda, a small town in Molise, from the commitment and passion of young entrepreneurs. The use of renewable energy technologies have made the production plant self-sufficient ... A latest generation crusher with centripetal pump does not require a final separator ... In a region where energy is often wasted and the mills are still widespread, I am faced with a company that is challenging ancestral traditions to look out for a modern olive growing with as little impact on the environment as possible. Not only that: the Mastrangelo family, owner of the company, is slowly recovering abandoned olive groves to increase production and pass on their passion to other young people. The constant search for the origins has led to the rediscovery of a historical cultivar, the Gentile di Mafalda.
