A particular plot, located at the village os San Vicente de Sonsierra: cool.climate, combined with shallow-stony calcareous clay soils and old vines from massal selection, provide a unique elegance. Spicy, fragant fruit and silky tannins, unique complexity and persistence. Altitude of aprox. 550m, 60 years old vines, 100% handcraft. 100% Tempranillo, manual picking, hand-selected grapes, long macerations and intracellular fermentations with indigenous yeasts in oak fermenters of 5000kg, natural extraction by gravity, malolactic fermentation and 16-18 months ageing in new French oak barrels of difference sizes (225l, 500l and 600l). 94p Tim Atkin, 92p James Suckling.
