This vintage was born from an encounter between two universes where stories and know-how intersect. A meeting between the François Carillon estate, recognized for its great white Burgundy wines, and the Montebello distillery which gives life for almost 100 years with exceptional Guadeloupean rums. Tasting notes: Color: Mahogany color with tiled reflections. Nose: Gluttony and complexity are the key words. Pastry world with nuts, precious wood, dried flower petals and stones apricots. Mouth: Roundness with a touch of liveliness, raisins, minerality left by wine, and tangy red berries. Gently fades away, leaving on the cheeks a note of stewed apricot, precious wood and cigar box. Finish: This rum leaves a juicy sensation in the mouth of vine peach poached in a sweet spice juice. Barreled in August 2010 and bottled in July 2022. 236 day finish Limited series (620 bottles) 50cl - 46.8%
