Kettle chips already have a long tradition in England. In Germany, they came onto the market in 2005 as Lisa's potato chips. Since 2012, our Lisas Bio-Kesselchips have been manufactured in the beautiful Allgäu - not far from Lake Constance, where Germany, Austria and Switzerland meet.
The topic of “sustainable enjoyment” in its entirety has always been important to us. The fact that potato chips should not contain any flavor enhancers or artificial additives was a matter of course when we developed the idea of making Lisa's chips. A clear conscience also plays a major role, so we have developed a process that makes our kettle chips naturally have a lower fat content than other chips.
But we wanted to do more than just produce delicious chips from natural ingredients: By deciding to become a Bioland product, we are making our contribution to many sustainability issues and, for example, promoting the preservation of biodiversity. We also make a contribution to protecting our climate.
At the same time, we are helping to spread the topic of regionality more widely. Our potatoes come mainly from Bioland farmers in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. Our sunflower oil also comes directly from an oil mill that we can see with the naked eye from production. This is regionality that you can taste!
