My name is Bijoux
I was born in Angola and lived in Congo for 11 years. After that I grew up in Cologne and now I breathe the Berlin air. I learned how to cook from the best grandma in the world: my grandma.
If I wasn't to be found under our mango tree in the garden, I was in the kitchen with Grandma. Before she safely handed me a knife, I watched her with joy. When the time finally came, my childhood was all about cooking.
My wonderful grandma (inside and out) taught me that there is more to African cuisine than “just” fufu or couscous.
I want to spread this message to the world!
