By creating this mountain gin, the teams at the Nusbaumer artisanal distillery pay homage to its founder and lover of the biodiversity of his region. 

Jos'Berri ("Joseph's mountain" in Alsatian), is the illustration of the convergence of his two passions: plants and distillation.   This artisanal gin is made from a maceration of rare complexity: 25 plants - botanicals, wild berries and spices. 

This rigorous selection of plants and the purity of Vosges spring waters, combined with precise know-how, give Jos'Berri Gin a vegetal, resinous and herbaceous character, unique and characteristic of medium-sized plants. mountain.

 This gin is made from a maceration of 25 plants, botanicals, wild berries and spices in a neutral alcohol for 3 weeks, at a medium strength so as not to alter the aromas of the ingredients. 

After distillation, the gin is stored in our cellar, before being reduced to the degree using Steige spring water; of great purity because it is naturally filtered by the Vosges schist; with cold filtration to perfect the manufacturing.

 Tasting notes: • Nose: Dominant notes of juniper berries, then vegetal notes (fennel, verbena, arnica, lemon balm, ginko, dill) • Mouth: the juniper berry is very present but associated with the resinous and herbaceous style of the different root ingredients (ginseng, ginger, gentian, licorice), berries (fir buds, mountain ash, wild service, elderberry). Notes of fruit (sloe, bitter orange, quince, pear) as well as spices arrive on the second palate (caraway, cumin, cinnamon) • Finish: the herbaceous impression is of great length Usage tips : - Pure as an aperitif or digestive - In cocktails, gin and tonic or long drink
