Discover our artichoke hearts grown in the San Severo region (Gargano, Puglia, Italy). Grown for centuries in Italy, they are a key ingredient in Italian cuisine. These little hearts literally make us melt: they are tender and above all delicious! They are picked by hand before the flower fully develops, so that the inner leaves, the "hearts", can be used for food preparation. Then, they are prepared and preserved in extra virgin olive oil to preserve their delicate flavor. This vegetable is not lacking in nutritional benefits: it is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and magnesium! It is also known for its body detoxification skills!In short, it’s a vegetable that’s as good for the body as it is for the taste buds! We appreciate them as well in antipasti as on bruschetta or pizzas!
