
Stracciatella is a traditional speciality of Puglia: it is nicknamed "heart of burrata" or "crushed burrata". Made by our Il Parco caseificio in San Giovanni Rotondo in Gargano, with cow's milk from the Puglia region. Truffle stracciatella is made with hand-pulled cheese strands, crème fraîche and truffle slivers. It is nothing more and nothing less than the heart of the burrata. Its taste is fine and elegant, very perfumed by the pieces of black truffle, with a creamy texture in the mouth. It is a pure delight eaten as is, on a nice slice of toasted bread garnished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. It can also be used as an accompaniment, and does not require any seasoning! This truffle stracciatella is available in 250g, 1kg and 3kg tubs. DLC of 15 days upon receipt at our warehouse (every Monday).
