
A full-bodied and sincere wine, which aims to revive and maintain the local food and wine habits of a past time, in which red grapes were the protagonists in the land of Franciacorta. It comes from different vines that complement and enhance each other; Merlot tempers the aggressiveness and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, while Cabernet Franc brings herbaceous and ethereal aromas. Vintage: from 2018 Grapes: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Nebbiolo (the percentages vary from year to year based on the best expressions of each individual vine) Winemaking: The grapes are harvested at different times based on their degree of ripeness Maceration: on skins for 12/15 days with delastage and pumping over. Maturation: 14/20 months in stainless steel tanks/barriques Ageing: 12 months Alc.:13% Pairings: Excellent with first courses with ragu, red meats, cured meats and cheeses. Serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C Soil type: Partly morainic deposits of ancient age, rich in skeleton and very deep, covered by fine aeolian deposits; partly of recent moraine origin mixed with fluvioglacial deposition.
