Gradoli Purgatory Beans 300g.

ANDan excellent legume rich in proteins, starch and mineral salts and low in fat.   Furthermore, it is a rich source of crude fiber.   Characterized by a delicate flavour, it is excellent when combined with fish-based dishes, alternatively it can be used to make hot soups, side dishes, delicious salads and gourmet dishes.   It has a very thin and easily digestible peel. ANDit is advisable to enjoy it with the addition of salt and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.   Soaking no / Cooking 60-90 minutes [pressure cooker 20' from the start of the whistle].   The cultivation of the Tondino del Purgatorio bean in Gradoli began in 1600 when it became the main dish of the "Purgatorio Lunch", organized on Ash Wednesday.   It is grown exclusively in the Alta Tuscia Viterbese.   All our legumes are grown in open fields by local farmers.
