White chickpeas from Tuscia 300g.

They are an excellent legume rich in proteins, starch and mineral salts.   They are also a rich source of crude fiber.   They have a slightly higher fat content than other legumes and this helps to increase the energy value and gives them a softer texture.   Excellent when combined with fish-based dishes, alternatively they are ideal for making hot soups, side dishes, delicious salads and gourmet dishes. ANDit is advisable to enjoy them with the sole addition of salt and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.   Soaking 8-10 hours / Cooking 60-80 minutes [pressure cooker 40' from the start of the whistle] Our white chickpeas are produced exclusively in Italy, in pristine soil.   Once cooked, they remain compact and crunchy.   The main characteristic of our chickpea is that it is small and smooth.   All our legumes are grown in open fields by local farmers, some of whom still plant ancient varieties today.
