White chickpeas are an excellent food rich in proteins, starch and mineral salts. They are also a rich source of crude fiber. The main characteristic of our chickpea is that it is small and smooth. They have a slightly higher fat content than other legumes and this helps to increase the energy value and gives them a softer texture. They are produced exclusively in Italy, in pristine lands. We at Perle della Tuscia have called it 'Crunchy' because, once cooked, it remains compact and crunchy.
