Starting from whole green peas, grown exclusively in Italy with traditional and organic methods, respecting nature, we proceed through a mechanical process to dehull and remove the external cortical part (peel).   With the 'decortication' process, no fundamental nutritional principle is eliminated. Green legume with a hemispherical shape, they have a dense and sweet pulp.   Rich in proteins, fibre, mineral salts and low in fat.   They cook quickly and are more digestible than whole ones, which is why they are also suitable for children and the elderly. Ideal for making healthy appetizers or first courses, they also go well with cereals.   Recommended for making soups, soups, veloutés and vegetable purées.   They are also used to prepare flans and side dishes, both hot and cold.   No soaking / Cooking 35-40 minutes.
