
Our Cannellino Bean is grown in Italy with traditional and organic methods in respect of nature. It has a cylindrical-elongated shape of a uniform white color with flattened tips. It is grown in the open field. After harvesting, the legumes are stored without the use of chemicals. Before packaging they are selected by hand. The main feature is the internal heart of the pulp which is soft and floury and therefore easily digestible. It is a legume rich in fiber, protein and mineral salts, it is also a notable source of folic acid and vitamin B6. Ideal for making delicious salads or preparing hot soups. Excellent as a meat substitute. We recommend tasting it with the sole addition of salt and extra virgin olive oil.
