BULK 250g/1kg - Green oak smoked paprika

What is paprika?  A sweet pepper, picked when fully ripe then finely reduced to powder.   Bright red, it has hot, spicy flavors but with a much more moderate spiciness than usual peppers. What’s special about our paprika?  It is slowly smoked with green oak wood, which gives it a powerful wood-fired aroma, as delicious as it is comforting.   This smoky side is particularly appreciated by vegetarians and vegans, who find flavors specific to animal products (bacon, salmon, cheese, etc.) Need recipe ideas? -Chicken paprika: heat oil in a pan and brown your diced chicken.   Add chopped onion, garlic and smoked paprika.   Brown them for a few minutes.   Then add crushed tomatoes and chicken stock, and simmer over low heat until the chicken flesh is perfectly tender. -Red bean soup with paprika: heat garlic and onion in a saucepan with a drizzle of olive oil.   Add the precooked red beans, paprika, and ideally vegetable broth.   Leave to simmer for 20 minutes then blend until you obtain a smooth soup.   Enjoy! -Vegetable gratin with paprika: preheat your oven to 180°C. ÉPlace the pre-cut vegetables of your choice (carrots, zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, etc.) in a gratin dish.   In a bowl, mix grated cheese, paprika and chopped parsley, then distribute this mixture over the vegetables.   Bake the dish for 30 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the top begins to brown.   Enjoy your food !   Our green oak smoked paprika is available in glass bottles of 55 g and 110 g, or in refill bags of 250 g.  Store it in a dry, cool place, away from light.   It does not expire, but we recommend use within 24 months to preserve the full intensity of its aromas.
