It was in 1994 that Bernard Castelain founded the Chocolaterie, in the heart of the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard in Vaucluse. He made his first chocolate, Palet des Papes, in the spirit of finding a perfect balance between dark chocolate and Marc de Châteauneuf-du-Pape and creating a great chocolate for a great vineyard.
Concerned about the quality of our products, we produce high-end chocolates every day, by selecting quality raw materials and adding traditional know-how that does honor to French gastronomy.
