Fresh long pepper with Kampot salt

Kampot salt long pepper is obtained from a complex fermentation process. Fresh pepper is harvested by hand before it matures. It is washed, scalded and then placed in fermentation with Kampot salt for a number of days of which only the producer knows the secret. Its artichoke flavor and spicy notes give it a unique taste. Cut into thin strips, it will enhance your salads wonderfully and will surprise you by accompanying some fruit. You can rinse it to remove excess salt before using it.
