The Tahitensis variety comes from the cross between V.Planifolia and V.Odorata. This variety, renowned in Tahiti, is also produced in Papua New Guinea, which offers us constant quality and stands out for its fruity and prune notes. Tahitensis is a vanilla that does not split at maturity unlike Planifolia. As a result, they are picked from the lianas at full maturity, thus allowing its incredible aromatic palette to develop and to make the reputation of the Tahitensis.
