SAGAVIN Kalecik Karasi 2023

Sagavin rosé is made from Kalecik Karasi grapes from Nevsehir – Cappadocia region. A wine from one vineyard.   This 1000 meter high vineyard has a white volcanic soil structure. Light pink color. The nose reveals aromas of strawberry, white flowers and grapefruit. The palate has a pronounced and balanced acidity. Its palpable minerality is in harmony with the volcanic soil structure of the region. While the Kalecik Karasi grape from Central Anatolia is fruitier, the Nevşehir region is saltier due to the soil structure. The producer produced this wine using the technique of white wine making, with a pressing process that lasts 20 minutes. After 3 days of cold settling, the fermentation process was completed at 15 degrees for 12 days.   It goes well with Far Eastern dishes, raw fish and savoury starters. Recommended to serve at 6-8 degrees.
