The history of my vineyard is very recent, it was in April 2021 that I arrived in the Chinon appellation, in Cravant les Coteaux, by purchasing 5 hectares of old vines, grown organically for around thirty years.
Before that, I was an SNCF train driver in Paris Austerlitz, but I'm not Parisian, I wanted to return to the land and produce something good and full of values, WINE!
After a quick training at the Bouche du Roi estate in Yvelines, I jumped at the opportunity to settle down, took my wife and child (who was 1 month old at the time) and we set off in the direction of our new life.
The only criterion I had regarding my installation was to use vines that were already certified organic, to be sure to immediately make a clean wine, and to work in respectful environmental conditions.
The idea from the start was therefore to produce an organic wine, but also natural, without products added during winemaking.
I work alone, so I do everything alone, from working the vines to winemaking, including packaging, order preparation, administration, marketing... So it's a small, very artisanal vineyard!
