The Michele Alois winery has its roots in the consolidated experience and passion of the Alois family in the wine sector, placing the pursuit of authenticity and high quality standards as the common thread of its production. Sometimes traveling the roads of the world can bring you close to home so, when you least expect it, the mythical Silk Road, thus identified by the geographer Von Richthofen, the same one of barricchesque memory, a jumble of civilizations and fabulous vestiges, was also, for some stretches, Via del Vino.
To see how naturally, on the silky thread of quality, wine and silk still meet, it is enough to go to San Leucio. Here, as in the rest of the world, the name Alois shines as a synonym of quality in the production and creation of fabrics present among other things in the most important halls of the planet: from the Quirinale to the White House, to the Louvre. Founded in 1885 as a commercial company at the time of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, it experienced constant and gradual success, becoming a textile industry, always at the helm of the head of the family, until the arrival of Michele Alois who, in 1992, according to a desire whose prodromes date back after the war, he set up a microvinification farm for 9 native vines, thus doubling the two-secular activity of the dynasty.
