The Chiusa Grande Agricultural Company, www.closedlarge.com, can certainly be counted among the most interesting, original and dynamic companies producing organic and natural wines from Abruzzo; as the third generation of winemakers, organic since 1991, we have always followed a production orientation aimed at authenticity, tradition, territory and in some ways innovation, however focusing (also to guarantee the consumer) many of our efforts on the of certifications (ISO, ORGANIC, ORGANIC KOSHER, ORGANIC VEGAN, BRC, IFS). Regarding our commitment to the environment, in addition to the use of energy from renewable sources, the use of lightweight glass to keep the levels of Co2 released into the atmosphere low, we are the first company in Abruzzo and among the few in Italy , obtained V certification.THE.V.TO.,further evidence of our constant attention to the topic of sustainability (http://www.sustainable viticulture.org ). Beyond classic winemaking focused on an optimal price-quality ratio, we also offer a range of "niche" and refined wines on the market such as:
- WITHOUT ORGANIC SULPHITES STILL AND SPARKLING (Ancestral white and rosé)
- CLASSIC ORGANIC METHOD with a prevalence of native vines (a WHITE, a ROSE', and an excellent Pas Dosé)
- ORGANIC WINES MACERATED IN STONE TANKS (a thousand-year tradition in the history of our production area and the result of research lasting more than 5 years)
- ORGANIC VEGAN WINES
The main cultivated varieties are Montepulciano Nero, Trebbiano, Pecorino (in the DOC and IGT denominations), Cococciola, Passerina, Pinot Grigio, Bombino, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon
Our references: we have been suppliers to the Swedish Monopoly for over 10 years and subsequently entered the Finnish and Icelandic Monopoly. All this as proof of our great reliability in terms of quality and sustainability.
