Terre de Ghaya is a family estate located at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Concerned about the environment, the Ghaya family built their own eco-designed cellar. Production is in organic conversion. Discover a family, its vineyard, its terroir, the AOP Ventoux.
   
The family estate dates back to the 1900s. In 2019, the Ghaya family - made up of father and daughter - embarked on the creation of their own cellar, a special cellar with an ecological aim. The cellar does not have any air conditioning, the cellar is semi-buried which allows natural temperature control. Rainwater is collected in recovery tanks for washing floors and toilets.
   
The wines produced on the AOP Ventoux terroir, fresh, fruity and delicious, are made from various grape varieties: Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier, Grenache Blanc for white wines, Caladoc, Marselan, Syrah, Grenache noir, Cinsault, Carignan, Merlot for red and rosé wines. The vineyard has various types of soils: stony, sandy, clayey, and limestone which bring a beautiful complexity to the different vintages.
   
Grateful for the terroir offered, passionate about their profession and concerned about the environment, the family works the grapes with the greatest respect.
   
The Terre de Ghaya estate practices a gravity winemaking process, its trademark. At no time are pumps used, the wine flows naturally by gravity.
